When you call NVC they say up to 8 weeks. If you have not receive it by the 8th week mark call again . CSC is averaging about 5 weeks to send case to NVC and TSC is shorter. TSC usually will update the status that they have sent the approve case to NVC. Here is a response I got from them when I emailed them regarding our case :

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your inquiry. The National Visa Center has not received
your petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Please scan and email your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action to
nvcresearch@state.gov. Type the receipt number in the subject line of
your email. We will contact USCIS on your behalf to find your petition.

If your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action does not indicate USCIS approved
your petition and sent it to the Department of State, please contact
USCIS for a status update.

Good luck.

I recived my noa2 the same day October 30 th, i called and they gived me my NVC number on Thursday, 21th. And NVC send it to consulate the same day. But I not received the notification on mail yet.

Call! And 7 days, after you received the NVC number call again and they give you the date of your interview before consulate sent the package 3 to your fiance.

My NOA for an I-130 was sent by USCIS on October 15th, informing us that our petition had been sent to NVC (my wife is LPR, I am the beneficiary). When I called the NVC just 2 days ago, they said that the petition was received on November 4th, and as yet has not been assigned an NVC case number.

It appears that they take a few weeks just to receipt it into the system, and then a few weeks more before someone actually looks at it, assigns a case number, and sends out a notice listing requirements for the next stage. The first thing they will send is the Fee Bill - until you have paid your money, nothing else gets done. So far we have had nothing from NVC. When I call them, they just tell me it takes up to 20 working days from the date received before they send anything else out. The customer service reps are polite but firm with their standard answers, that is you just have to wait for us to contact you.

It's frustrating I know, I am in the same situation, as are thousands of others. It often seems that some people who received NOAs jump ahead of others who got theirs earlier, but maybe some cases are much more complicated than others. So we wait, and try to be patient.............

What I mean is pay at a BPI branch to setup an interview online with the US embassy. Once you have an interview appointment you can have the beneficiary go to St Lukes for a medical.

One more question! So you schedule your interview on feb right? How about the packet thing? Are USEM will send it to you before your interview or its okay if you don't bring it on the day of your interview?

Yes I scheduled the interview for Feb. NVC will forward the files of the case to USEM. You can track it here : https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx? once you have the case number. Ours took about 3 business days for NVC to send them to Manila. Here is a link you can find instruction what USEM needs your fiancee has to bring on the day of the interview http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3224.html

You should hear something in the next week or so. Our NOA2 was Oct. 16 and it was received by NVC on Nov. 19. Don't expect CSC to notify you when they ship your approved petition to NVC - I didn't hear anything until I got the notice in the mail from NVC.

I tracked it online and this is what they said:

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.

So if they already provide the interview date, can my fiance go to his medical without the letter/packet from the USEM?
