Indiana is requiring Social Security card

TX as well, and both written and driving test, and why not?

As part of applying for my job I had to show proof of car insurance.

IMHO it's only fair that there cannot be shortcuts for illegals.

I remembered that i badly wanted to have temporary permit whilst waiting for my green card that way i can practice driving......i did and with all documents.....i still dont have an ss card...so i just wrote a statement that i will give them a copy of my ss number as soon as its available....and i got the T.I.P. ( temporary instructors permit) that allows me to drive with a licenced driver.....when i received my number i went back and gaved them my number.

p.s. i got the copy of certificate from secretary of state. all i did was copy and /dated and sigend.
