Fiance Moved

Don't yell at me, but I posted this same question in the Africa: Sub-Saharan forum, but got zero reponses. So I'm trying my luck here...

My fiance moved to a new apartment a few weeks ago, but his mailing address is still the same. His mailing address is what I listed on the I-129F, but I included an addendum listing his physical address as well. We're still waiting on our NOA2, so should I contact USCIS now to notify them of his address change or wait to notify the embassy in Accra once they receive our packet? Everyone in Ghana receives mail via P.O Box, so I don't foresee this as creating a huge problem for us. But I'm sure we should notify someone of his physical address change.... Right?? Any suggestions?

I don't think his physical address is necessary - if he is getting the mail at a PO box and that hasn't changed it should be OK. He will need a police clearance of some sort (part of packet 3 when he gets it) and that should be enough. If you feel paranoid he can redo the G325a and take it with him to the interview. Good Luck

I moved shortly after I filed my I129F, not knowing that USCIS mail will not forward. After casing my old address I was able to intercept my NOA1. I went through the process of officially changing my address through the Customer Service Center. While the process seems to have gone smoothly (see timeline below), I still worry that an RFE or NOA2 will be inadvertantly sent to the old address. Probably worrying over nothing, but if I were you I'd ask why disturb a sleeping dog? If he can still receive mail from the old PO Box and it's merely an inconvienence, I suggest leaving it alone.
