Congrats to the OP. And shame on members calling troll. It isn't the OP's fault they happened to get a fast approval, seriously. This site is becoming nothing but drama. What happened to members being happy for others? Are you only happy for people who are waiting longer than you? Grow up.

It's unfortunate attitudes.

Others would rather everyone be miserable, can't be happy for anyone else.

i have got mine approved in 26 days!!! So it might be true althought it doesn't sound reasonable. Good Luck my dear, and all the best for the interview.

That's not really relevant in regards to this post, as it's for an I-130. I-129Fs are getting approve blazingly fast lately.

You're a K1 visa. That's an entirely different situation and processing time.

Exactly. Totally different.

I'd like to think that if I was ever fortunate enough to be in a similar position as the OP that I would have the good grace to keep quiet about it, knowing that others in similar circumstances have been waiting for months and even years.

I agree.

what can we do sad.pngsad.png we have to believe in that silver lining. I have to, otherwise we're going to lose our minds, my hubby and I cray5ol.gif

I've found that Scotch, Led Zeppelin and talking with my wife on skype help me pass the time and cope with the separation.

I have a question. I (USC) am waiting for the NOA2 for my stepson (IR2?). We filed in the beginning of July. I just looked at USCIS VSC processing time and it looks like it is taking longer for USC petitions than LPRs. Is that possible? I filed because I was told it would take much longer if my husband filed. Just curious.

It appears that they're processing LPRs faster lately, but we can't know for sure whether that's the case. Yeah, it sucks and feels terrible but there's nothing we can do about it but wait.

It's disappointing people have such a hostile and suspicious attitude, especially when so many people are petitioning the government to speed things up. In my experience life isn't fair. As a husband who misses his wife dearly, and whose case has been going on now for just about a year (and that's average) I wish the OP and spouse the best of luck.

Historically this does happen from time to time. I happened when we were going through our I-129F filing back in 2010-2011. Back then what it came down to was the service center was performing training sessions and would randomly select cases and move them through. Sometimes they selected older cases and sometimes very recent cases. Fair or not, that is what they did and it appears they are still operating in the same way. Nothing you can do except write your Senator and Representitive.

Did I mention "DCF" or "expedited" anywhere in my post? Use common sense people. It was I-130, not DCF, not expedited without any lawyers involved, and yes it said VERMONT SERVICE CENTRE on NOA1. It is surreal and unprecedented, however I am ecstatic.

Just be thankful. Thats all. The people here are nice and friendly.

You think the OP is confusing the NOA1 with the NOA2?

K1 again. Listen, commenting on a CR1 about a K1 is redundant. I realise it's just a mistake but people here (including me) are easily irritated when unhelpful comments are posted in haste. Good luck with your K1.
