My man and I started our petition with a couple of messed up. Him, dye his hair blue, forgot that he still needs to have passport photo taken. Lol. Next, he accidentally made an error in his birthdate and we only noticed it after we sent our papers already. He got a little depressed but I encouraged him not to think about it and just expect for an RFE to be sent to us. But instead of RFE, we received a notice that our petition has been approved already. We were very happy to know that we were approved despite the error we made. Then, we keep on telling each other that we should expect for a 4-8 weeks before we can get our manila number but then manila number was given to us in just almost 2 Weeks! Aren't we very lucky? lol. Then, the next day, we were notified that our paper was sent to USEM. And again, after 4 days, CEAC status change into READY! Now, here my part of the mess up! Lol. My mahal sent me money for visa on november 19. Decided to pick up the money the next day in the morning and pay the visa right away. But then, when the next day came, I was not able to go because they needed me at the office. So I reschedule my picking up the money and visa paying in the afternoon. at exactly 12noon, I left to pick up the money hoping I could pay the visa before 3pm. So, I started to look for any BPI branches and I came to see one of their branch. I was in a hurry to fall in line and when my number pop up already, went immediately to the teller only to be disappointed because they said that the branch I came in to is just a family branch and they won't accept visa payment! So I was in a hurry to look for a main branch. The next one I found has so many costumer and I was running out of time already! I decided to look for another branch hoping to see one with less people! . I came across the mango branch. There are only few people so I took my chances there hoping against hope that my number will be called before 3pm. Lol, it's already 2:50 at that time! Seems like that day was not for me. My number was called after 3pm already and when I came to the tellers counter, I was asked for my passport! Uhmm, what? Passport? I was not told to bring passport with me when paying! Lol, felt like crying there. :) so, I have to tell my baby the bad news. Lol, he even blamed himself saying he didn't do much research. Told him that it is alright and it's no ones fault and told him that will just pay the next day. Again! Lol. So, the next day, I paid the visa and fave him the receipt number! He told me to make an account first and then just give him the user name and password and he'll continue the ready. This is the crucial part. I log in to the sure he gave and made my acvount. But, instead of using my original email account as user name, I put a make up user name instead. I didn't know that the user name is the email itself in where they will email the confirmation of the appointment made. Darn! Thought I can just create any username name..:( the good thing is, my baby is a programmer and always makes back up for everything. And he also knew that I can be dumb sometimes! Lol. I felt so very frustrated thinking that I will not be able to get the confirmation since I didn't give the right username/email! Just when i'm about to cry, my baby told me not to worry anymore because he happens to save a pdf copy just in case something goes wrong. Lol! something did went wrong! So I was at ease already knowing that we still have copy of confirmation and I was booked for interview on January 30. but just when everything seems good already, I suddenly discovered that my sister has given me the wrong birth year of my father! What the!? This can't be happening when i'm already 2 steps closer to my baby! I do cried hard last night but my baby assured me that everything will be fine. That there's nothing we can do anymore because it happens already. and I think be is right. We can't go on lingering to what went wrong. So, we just move forward and now just wait for the interview to come. We need to be positive and patient. I still didn't resign from my work so I will have something to think and do while waiting for the final moment..:)

Good luck to everyone of us in this journey of happiness. Have faith always and don't forget to pray to God for the happy ending. :) fighting! :)

Here are some suggestions for the things that you have went through:

1. The issue of your fiance's birthdate, you can always do another G-325A for him and then present the updated/corrected form at the consulate interview. I had to update/correct forms before I went to the consulate.

2. Concerning your birthdate. Do you know the right year of your birth. Again you can do an updated/corrected G-325A and present that at the consulate interview and then for the new forms that you will fill out you would put the correct birth year.

Hope this helps. Blessings on the rest of your journey.
