CBP saw someone your age with no job and recent visit as

a potential person with immigrant intent..Applying and pushing

for visitors visa will solify that, after all you will/suppose to be

working in Canada soon eh.

The OP never said they had a recent visit. And why would applying for a visitor visa solidify anything? The OP merely wanted to visit on VWP and was denied because of no strong ties. Once the OP starts working and IF they choose to apply for a visitor visa there shouldn't be any problems.

Well, it won't be for much longer if they keep treating potential tourists like criminals. Not everyone will be denied entry, but the thought of being treated like a criminal will eventually send people away.
