Your Fiancee's child under 21 years of age and unmarried maybe included in your I129F Petition for your Fiancee. The only required fee is for your Fiancee's I129F which is currently at $340. As long as the child has been included in the original I129F Petition, the child will also be able to apply for a K2 visa at the time your Fiancee applies for her K1.

At that time, that is when the Visa Application Fee applies and it will be $240 for your Fiancee and $240 for the child, these are the fees set as of this writing.

Hi,

I wanted to know what if I failed to include my child in my I-29f petition but mentioned that he/se will follow me in the future maybe after 3 years. What would be the process or petition I need to apply for my child? If you can send me the link for this process, will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I sent the I 129 F for my fiancee and I listed her child in one the forms, is there anything else I need to do to get her son a visa? at what point do I need to pay a fee for his application or is it together with the I 129F application?

We are also bringing my fiance's daughter with him. When your case is finally sent to the NVC and then to the consulate/embassy for processing and scheduling your interview, you will need to complete the DS-160 on your finance, submit the form then select additional application for family members to continue completing a form for your finance's son. This will be an option only after your fiance submits their DS-160.

You will need to make sure they have passport photos as these will need to be uploaded to each form before they can be submitted. After the forms are submitted, payment for each visa can be made. There may be a little variance with the Colombian embassy as far as when each step happens. In Haiti, we pay the visa fee right before packet 3 is sent back to them. I've seen others pay at the time of interview so just check in the Columbia portal for clarification on that part. good.gif

Hope that helps a little! ;-)
