i am in AP since one year now and my medical is also expired but embassy didn't ask me for medical. should i contact them or should i wait for there email?

I am married for 4 years and 3 days. 20th February was our 4th wedding anniversary and we have been together for almost 2 months when my wife visited Pakistan. She has been to Pakistan twice and now her passport has 5 years Visa for multiple entries into Pakistan. I am in AP for almost 2 years 6 months and 11 days. Make DUA for us and for everyone who is away from his/her spouse.

We have even married for 2 years now. Our second anniversary was in January. I have gone to Pakistan 3 times and have stayed there for 2 months in total. Stayed for 3 weeks after the wedding in Pakistan and Dubai with him in 2012. Went back in November 2012 for his birthday for 2 weeks. And then went back again in 2013 for his birthday for 25 days. It will be one year in AP on March 8th. Here's to hoping that none of us have make more trips back home alone.

We have been married 3 years and 4 month spent one year and 4 months with my husband and have a 19 months old baby boy. I applied for my husband on green card july 2011 then got citizenship july 2012 husband had his interview march 06 2013 since then he is in ap .his medical expired on 21 feb 2014.waiting for an email from embassy for new medical.

Fiance has his fingerprints and oath on Monday!! Our case has updated yesterday and today. Praying for good news on Monday...

it means they are working on your case after long time dear dont lose your hope .... we are still waiting for 9 months in AP

today is our 3rd marriage anniversary and we spend only 2 months and 4 days together after our marriage .I am very upset today missing him alot. Allah knows when this Ap will over.

Ahmed flew from Pakistan to Abu Dabi to Chicago then on to our home in Michigan. There was a US immigration office in Abu Dabi where they took his visa packet. They were very kind and he didn't have any problems. When he got to Chicago he just showed his passport and visa and they let him through.

Was this immigration office in the Dubai airport in the airport in Abu Dhabi? When they took his packet, did they stamp his passport there? How long did this process take?

All I know is that he had a lay over in Abu Dhabi. They did stamp his passport and took about 15 to 20 minutes.

hi!! Hope you all are doing well. I have just entered the US last week on an IR1 visa..and I just have a few questions. I would really appreciate your help.

1. I am going to the SS Office on Monday to apply for my card, so whats the next step?

2. I want to start applying for jobs and just wanted to know what I will need to have to be legally eligilbe? do i need a work permit or my visa will suffice?

3. Also I paid my greencard fee in early January and it is not updated on the site and im just wondering when to expect the actual card and how to check if its even in process.. i paid by credit card and the charge has come up.

sorry im just really overwhelmed and confused by all of this.. i want to get settled as soon as possible and start my life here

Hello, did the embassy contact you for a new medical? Also did they contact you by phone or email? Also, when did you send the medical to embassy? Did your status kept updating on ceac website after you sent in the new medical?

Yes, they called him for the new medical after 11 months in ap. By phone, we sent it on Jan.3rd. Yes, it continued to update, they contacted him again on feb.10, b/c we forgot to send the ds160. We sent it that sameday, but I sent it to the wrong department so in 2 weeks our case didnt update, so I decided on Feb 7th to resend it and on the 10th the case updated and then on the 11th they called again for the oath and fingerprints.
