No update....last update Feb 14....it got updated on its own without any email...plz pray for me...

my case didnt update since 12 feb... it stopped... yesterday i got off from job and was thinking to check status once i get home... but it was tradegic night... i got in to accident and my whole car was totaled... i got a head injury with 8 stiches..police said i was lucky that i survived the crash.....please pray for me and wife these are the hard moments for me and my wife... please pray that she get approved soon IN SHA ALLAH

I had to travel abroad. When I got the passport back and applied another country visa, that Embassy asked me to renew passport as it was expiring in 5 months. Then I renewed it and at the same time scanned the new passport and e-mailed it to U.S. Embassy. They updated the system and CEAC website also got an update. I have not sent the passport back to them, waiting for their call.

FYI, almost all Embassies require that your passport must be valid at least 6 months at the time of visa application (better beyond the validity of their visa i.e. at least 9 months)

It takes only a few days to get the passport back. for me it took only 3 working days.

Hi Salman khan,

My passport is also going to expire next month and I requested Embassy to return it for renewal. I got it in 3 working days. I have applied for a renewal and should be getting it next week. You better email and request it if it has less then 6 months validity.
