No actually thats not true...as so many of us have submitted our docs not even once but twice, and still in AP.

When i asked DOS why, they said embassy wants to work on a case only if it is updated from applicant, and they dont wanna work on a case if its docs r expiring

This is what i was told by them.

Well, I am answering based on our experience, as I know every case is unique.

There is no one to contact about a long AP. You can have your senator or congressman inquire about your case. He still has time on his medical. They will issue the visa if he has a month before it expires.

Soccer.Player I know it is hard and expensive to do the medical but always follow embassy instructions. If they had gotten the new medical it may have caused them to work on your case and finish it.

So what do u think i have to send fresh medical or wait for embassy email or call?they did email 2 months ago to submit fresh medical if i need full 6 month visa...after this no contact

I really pray this time everything will work out and they will issue the visa. You've been in this process so long it's heartbreaking to watch each month pass with no visa issued for you. Many prayers for you!!!

Thats true soccer player, maabish, eabbas,aisha,and sorry if i m forgetting names ....but all u guys have been waiting for soooo long...now carolyn is out of this ...in the same way inshaAllah all of u who r waiting for so long will hear "visa issued" good news very soon ....my heart says that within 3 to 6 months, all of u will get visas iA...just keep praying and hav faith on Allah

Aameen La Girl and Thx ...u are also in the same boat of waiting Ap.... Inshaa Allah one day our status also changed to Issued and we get our passport with visa

Ohhh I m sooo sorrryyy dear if i hurt ur feelings...but actually at that time i was thinking of ppl who hav been in AP for more than 2 yrs...but i really pray for u, myself nd everyone over here in AP...we can all feel each others' pain...

i guess specially for married couples life is almost stopped or on hold....but i m sure if we all support each other morally, we ll come out of this AP soon inshaAllah in a better way...just stay strong and keep away from depression...although at times i lose my patience and burst into tears...but only infront of my Allah....thanku every1 for ur support here ...
