i have been following this forum since my husband's case was denied. currently his case was reaffirmed on september 2013 and i had been waiting for it to reach to Islamabad embassy . now his case is in embassy since october but i haven't heard from the embassy yet. today when i checked his case status ib ceac website it shows that his case status updated on December 4 2013 but it still says returned to NVC. does anyone have any idea about it? was his case again sent it back to NVC???. i am bit confused and in very stressfull condition. i had been waiting for his visa since 2011.

S.nomi they update your case status soon but they might put it in ap as our case reaffirmed and send back to embassy and after i check on ceac website it first mentioned return to nvc then they update and now since sept 2013 its showing refused when i contacted to DOS they told me it s not refuse its in ap . since then when ever we send them email they told us that our case is in ap and they will contact soon ,so dont worry your case does not send to nvc back they will update either to ap or they will contact you soon.inshaallah.

Thanks Faisal and Aisha, our case was denied becoz consular thought that our marriage is fake, my husband had an interview on dec 2011 and his case was in ap for 1 yr , on Feb 2013 i received a letter from uscis that our case is here for review so it takes 7 to 8 month for appealing process now our case is reaffirmed and my husband is waiting for a visa.

Guys I am happy to report that today on the CEAC site my wife's case shows ISSUED!

her interview was in Oct 2012 and I applied September 2011. So glad this is ove, still in shock not sure if this is real.

My prayers are with everyone else who is still waiting. It took us 14 months in AP for a standard case so don't lose hope. Your time will come!
