guys i want to ask u i heard that after interview ambassy updates cases 4 or 5 times after that they do not touch our cases and stop updates.. share ur axperiances about this....

No update since Jan 9th but that too was a response to my congresswoman.

@Cindrella - I don't think that's true because we received only 1 update after our interview (after 2-3 weeks) then no updates for 5-6 months. Only after 6 months did we start to receive multiple updates.

i am getting updates from last 4 months but it looks to me like it is just another way to keep our hopes alive that something is going on with our case.......

it happened to me, had my interview on September 20 in 10 days i got 4 updates, so after that since September 30 no update in my case. today is the exact 4 Month for my last update in my case.

My husband's case was updated on Jan24 as well. But his interview was on Dec26 and there have been at least six or seven updates since his interview.
Anybody else on AP for spousal visa?

Dear fellow community Members,

I have been the silent observer since past 2 years. My Visa journey started in Dec 2010 and finally after 4 years of wait got my visa issue Today.

I just want to thank everyone on this community and wanted to say don’t let your hope dies, Very soon you will all get the Magic letter "ISSUED" on CEAC web site.

My case recently got around 5 updates, it used to be 1 update per 2 months. Got the email from embassy on Dec 4^th 2013 to submit 2 pics and new medical, after they received the require docs, received the call on 16^th Jan 2014 to come to embassy on 29^th for finger prints and oath. After taking the oath yesterday, The Visa officer said congratulations your visa is approved and you will get your passport back in 10 days.

Check today on CEAC web site and its said ISSUED

Congratulations Naveed you have waited so very long for your visa. My husband is still waiting after 4 and a half years. May all your years in America be happy ones!
