I got an email from the embassy today they said the visa has been issued. My husband has to be here by March 9, 2014. I am so happy and so is my husband!

Hi VJ members, today morning i checked my younger siblings cases and by grace of Allah both were issued.

yesterday was their interview, yesterday status was showing AP after interview then today some time in the morning it changed to issued.Now all four of us(siblings) got our visas and i will pray for all others who are stuck in Ap that Allah help them in thie processing. AMEN...

Is anyone else having problems with the embassy getting your packages/mail?

My husband sent a package December 9, 2013 the embassy doesn't have it. My husband sent a medical December 24, 2013 and the embassy doesn't have that.

My husband sent a package December 9, 2013 the embassy doesn't have it. My husband sent a medical December 24, 2013 and the embassy doesn't have that.

My fiance sent his on 1/2 and they confirmed receiving it on 1/5.

Sugheil Nawaz thank you for your response. I will have my husband check the case number he put on the packages. The couier service confirms the packages were received by the embassy. When I call DOS one persons says yes they were received then I talk to a different person and they say they were not received. My head is spinning.

The first package can be sent again but I don't really have the money for him to do another medical. Some days I feel so helpless.

I perfectly understand you and I know you have been waiting for such a long time. I pray and hope your process can end soon. We have been on AP for 1 year and it has been very, very hard and stressful so I imagine how it must be on you that have waited longer.

Our case has updated on the 1/17, 1/22 and 1/23 and today fiance received a call from the embassy to send via email the DS160 confirmation page that he forgot to include when he submitted his medical.

Is anyone else having problems with the embassy getting your packages/mail?

My husband sent a package December 9, 2013 the embassy doesn't have it. My husband sent a medical December 24, 2013 and the embassy doesn't have that.

They don't reply my mails and once out of frustration I sent query via courier service. Courier service tracking showed that they have delivered my package, but nothing happened. Updation date didn't change or anything at all.

I have called DOS twice about what's going on, both time visa specialist seems to be confuse herself cuz of strange response from Embassy. They then advice me to contact Embassy and when I tell them they aren't replying my emails or anything, they advise me to complain to Inspector General Office.

I have contacted my Senator's office and told them what's going on along with the tracking numbers of the packages. Sense the embassy won't return my emails maybe they will respond to the Senator.

Somebody...I have also filed a complaint with the Inspector General Office telephone number 1-800-409-9926 because the embassy won't return my emails.

Today husband called them they replied that ur case has no red flag its totally fine just normal AP and hope we'll get our visas soon InshaAllah!!!

They also told that more than 2000 cases are under going AP!!!!

My interview was on 23rd dec so today it completed 1 month!!!
