Many congrats to those who got approved!

Just wanted to remind everyone that medical and pictures do not have to be mailed unless they ask you.. You only need to email ds260 barcode and tell them that medical and pictures are also completed.

Give them 2 to 3 weeks to call you. When they call they will schedule for your oath. You would need to take ur medical and pic with you.

The hardest test of patience so far in my life, I hope so too! keep checking everyday for update but nothing, How is ur hubby holding out? What are his comments on this whole scenario?

Same here. My hubby was really depressed and pissed off the first 2 days he didn't want to eat and didn't go to work, he felt so confident he was going to be approved and to be told that he's on ap just brought him down hard. I've been doing what I can to cheer him up. He just prays this ap will be over soon and not for a long time, he's taking it a little better now with patience. He keeps telling me to come live with him while we wait...so we'll see...

Do you have a co-sponsor? If you do then you can live with your husband and not have to worry. If you are the only sponsor I would not quit my job to go live in Pakistan. AP can take a long time and in 1 year they can request a new affidavit of support.

My husband was the opposite, in the beginning, I was taking it harder, and husband was more calm, now its like hes more pissed side, and I am calmer because I know how this AP thing works and that its normal for males coming from Pakistan. Like carolyn said, if your not the only sponsor and can manage to get time off from work, u should go and be there, it will make a world of difference.

do you know if males are put in AP or that it takes longer, because the beneficiary has lived abroad before, like in another foreign country, my hubby lived in south korea for a few years, but hes been in pakistan for the past 8 years since then, and they dont give out police certificates, I was wondering if thats the reason hes in AP.
