Asalam e likum!

By the Grace of Allah, We are out of this nightmare! We got the passport with visa this Saturday.

I am posting this message for all of you who get really caught with updates and not having updates.

Interview: August, 2013

6 updates after the interview.

No updates till March 20th.. 3 or 4 updates than it stopped.

No updates till August, 2014..

End of August it update to expiring soon. (medical and Ds 260 expired)

Email embassy.. Changed to Ap again..

No update till September 19th.

September 19th: Call for Medical and Ds 260

September 20th: Submitted DS 260 by email.

Oct 2: Call for finger print and oath

Oct 22: Finger Print (12:30pm appointment but didn't get out from embassy till 4pm)

October 23: Issued!!

October 24: Passport in Hand!! ALLHUMDULLILAH!!

So my brother and sisters.. Continue to do DUA for yourself and others.. Don't get caught up with Updates.. It happens when Allah desires..

It was long 14 months of AP!! 20 months since we submitted I 130!!!

That's great Waitinggg...Great to know your visa got issued...and pray for all who are silent readers on VJ here...Heartly & warmly congrats for your visa got ISSUED...Almighty bless you always more than this visa and don’t forget to keep encouraging all bros n sis in here to boost up their energy and patience level and give them moral support to come out of this AP...

By the way ... many many heartly and warmly congrats on your visa again...have a great blessed life ahead, we pray...

Many many congratulations, I would say you are the lucky one who got approved on the spot, otherwise people are waiting here from years ,

Aoa brother. I am so pleased to hear your visa ISSUED...U remember I told u that their policy is different for Afghanis and I had seen Afghanis getting visas on spot at day of my interview…and now its proven with your visa. Enjoy your life with your family and you are always in our prayers bro. :dancing:

Dear bro i am also afghani its all depend on inidividual....

Yesterday my case showed expiring soon and today i email to embassy and changed again to ap but reply to me,,,any ideas guys

thank u bro.. hope they can see everyone on a same eye.. i dnt know i saw a guy in embassy he was afghani too bt he was told that v r going to chek ur name or smthing. the embassy didnt keep his passport..

No they hardly ask any questions.. All they do is process paperwork..

thank u bro.. hope they can see everyone on a same eye.. i dnt know i saw a guy in embassy he was afghani too bt he was told that v r going to chek ur name or smthing. the embassy didnt keep his passport..

Congrats! You are lucky to avoid the AP nightmare..
