if embassy not going to end my ap then why they request for fresh medical every year

?they also type in email that we need fresh medical for updating ur file its mean they only wana update their file not ready too give me visa from last 3 years....

Soccer.Player I know your pain. Do not give up. I know a man that waited 4 years in AP and got his visa.

They also asked for fresh medical and documents from my husband then didn't touch our case for months. The medical is only good for 6 months now. My husband just did his 3rd medical. I ask God everyday when will this wait be over.

My interview was on 9th december 2013 and was placed on AP. On 19th dec i got my first update and yesterday also on 20th, so consecutive status updates for two days. But the status isn't changed. It's only 12 days passed since my interview. Hope they will issue visa soon.

They have been leaving the older cases in AP and giving visas to people that interviewed in 2013. So they very well might issue your visa soon.

I wish that was the truth Carolyn. My husband had his interview on March 8th of this year and nothing. I lost all hope and went to visit him for a month. I forgot about all my worries until now (when it's time to come back to states in few days). It just makes me sad that I will be coming alone and without any insight of when he will be issued a visa. Our case hasn't been touched at all on it's own since March 14th. We are nearing 10th month of AP soon and now I'm hearing that a medical is only good for only 6 months as opposed to a year. May the next year be a better one for all of us, inshallah.

Yes carolyn is right they are leaving old cases and giving out visas to mostly recent cases. I am stucked in AP from last 24 months and they have not worked on my case long enough. it is what it is nothing I can do about it other than just wait and pray

Our case is updated today 21-DEC. They also called to setup an appointment for fingerprints and oath. I think embassy open on Saturday but they are not open for public on weekends.

I was called by the embassy as well to take oath and give fingerprints. And my visa was approved the next day. So InshAllah good news is coming your way :-)
