Vj members i want to inquire something on behalf of my friend!! If somebody had applied for non immigrant visa of usa while his petition is filled, and got rejected and after sometime his interview for immigrant visa came so how much chances for him to be placed in AP?? Does it affects his immigration interview or not?

No...Non.IV has nothing to do with IV...tell your friend to be confident and strong and appear for IV interview...thats it...he/she will get visa this time bcoz IV is a reason which can not be denied ...OK

Assalam o Alikum... there is no way to determine if his case will go in AP or not due to the reason you mentioned... but since he matches the other categories which is "Pakistani Muslim Male" "duh", so his case has more chances to go in AP..... now the worst part is if his case goes in AP all the other questions can be asked.

I my self could have applied non immigrant visa for my wife.. upon research i found out that just in case if her non immigrant visa will be rejected and then after me applying again for her as immigrant, can raise lot of questions like "OOO so she dint got the non immigrant visa so now she is taking a different route" and all ... it was just a precaution from my side thats why i applied for her immigration instead and took a much longer route.... which was also the right way

As we Muslim always should select the right way even if it is longer route.. every thing earned with hardship gains better value

Ignor the wife part if his immigrant visa is not due to marriage

On the other hand if his marriage is bonafied he do not have to worry about any thing... he love is wife and he married her for good reasons just go a head and take the next step.. Allah will help... an ofcourse they will not find any thing against him because he did the right thing.

Those were my words.. please do more research if not satisfied..

Jazak Allah..MAy Allah help him and all of us in our harship... Ameen

And if the immigrant visa is because of family member other than wife... most probably they will not care about rejection...Say BismiAllah and go ahead..because he will have to do it weather he like it or not lol just kidding... my duas are with you all

Thanks bro i really appreciate ur kind words.I hv been a silent observer of this forum n really when ever some one gets positive news from the embassy or nvc it gives relief. This whole process is quite agonizing as ur thoroughly kept blind by the authorities.Any how we understand that this process has its course specially designed for our Male applicants.Being and staying positive is the only solution to complete this course.
