Mje b same yhi kaha tha k bht acha hva ha interview everything is fine and complete and I can expect our visas in 1 to 3 mnths!! Lekn jhoot tha 6 mnth strt hogia last update 3rd april ki ha usk baad kch nhi!! Bht callz ki mails ki but same reply everytime!!!

So good to see old cases being issued with visas. My wifes case is still pending AP. Its now been in AP for 2 years and 3 months since feb 2012. And still no sign of AP ending. The only time it ever updates is wen she or i send an email to embassy and they reply. Otherwise it never updates on its own. Same standard reply of AP by embassy. Her medical also expired this feb and embassy hasnt requested it yet. Have no clue whats going on and how ling this will be. All i know is each day i check the ceac website and wen i see no update, it just disappoints me.

Please be positive, don't be disappointed, because these days embassy is really working on old cases they were in AP for routine things.

I would strongly suggest that beside your emails. You should also contact your congressman/senator and request them to inquire on behalf you.

Keep in mind senator and congressman can't expedite your case but after every couple of months. Ask your senator and congressman to inquire on your behalf about case. This way embassy can not give same answer again and again. Embassy will have to work on your case and change their tunes.

Also you should be calling NVC after every 2 weeks ...... You and your wife should recite sourah Muzamil as much you can.... Insha-Allah there will be progress in AP and you will get visa.

After 14 march i got update on june 2 pleqse pray that my wife get visa in coming days or may be today

Also, we havent been reading any duas coz we have just given up, but will definitely recite surah muzammil and ask her to as well.

Yes buddy, i hope so inshaAllah. And even hope and pray that urs comes soon too. Her medical expired in feb, but still no news from embassy. Last update was 14th march and then once in april wen i sent email for inquiry. Thats it. It was the same generic ap reply also. All we can do is hope and pray for a miracle. Coz ap truly sucks.

Assalam o Alikum,

Sister please don't worry. if they are not replying to the email it don't mean you have to worry about some thing...

First of all It says on the inquiry page that they will not reply to the email if the answer can be found on their web page. (in your cases info related to the status is explained on Dep. of States web page)

Secondly the inquiry was submitted on Sunday (Off day) and it takes them 5 days to reply (according to the info on their web page). so just wait for few more days they will reply to your emails.

Also it is a good new that they have your case in Embassy and that they will be working on it. if they had to, they would have already rejected your Visa... They have your cases, so this is consider a good sign...just that they have to verify if your marriage is bonafide.

Yes calling NVC does make a difference, at least that's what I think. My case was not updating. I called them back in March 2014 and said to lady from NVC "If I have committed a crime marrying a Pakistani?. I said, if there an issue, concern in the eyes of embassy. That should be shared with me so I can help embassy to resolve it. I said even criminals in US know the reasons for delay of the case. I have no information's why my case was put in AP. What the hell is going on in my case etc.

Then things start rolling, three weeks ago my wife received call and requested to submitted DS260, fresh medical and two pictures. Caller from embassy told her after receiving these documents. She will be called for finger prints and oath. Now we are hoping and waiting call from embassy.

Once in a month send email to embassy. After every 15 days your wife should call and inquire from NVC. Next month have your congressman and senator inquire on your wifes behalf from embassy. TThere should be exchange of emails with NVC and embassy by your wife.... correspondence key HAL CHAL hoti rehni chaiey. Insha-Allah aap ka aur jo bahi, behan AP may haien.. kam ho jaiey ga.
