Guide me senior members please...Nikaah is better after getting visa or after green card?

i ask this question in other section and got this reply ...

After you have the green card. Marriage will invalidate the visa since you would no longer be in the F2B category.

A visa is only for entering the US. As soon as you enter you should get a stamp in your passport that serves as a temporary green card until your arrives in the mail.

If you marry prior to entering the US you will invalidate your visa because it is based on the F2B category, unmarried child of an LPR and you would no longer be unmarried. There is no visa available for married children of an LPR.

The minute you enter the US your visa becomes invalid because you will have your green card (or stamp until the card arrives). So if you wanted to enter the US, go through customs, walk down the way, get on another plane, go home and marry, you are good to go because you are now a LPR.

Please, Please don't screw this up by getting married prior to entering the US

What do you think about this?

According to my knowledge and info...whoever wrote u this is right...don't hurry for Nikah/Marriage and let the time go on and wait for your Green Card first...wait & see...iA u will find out more ways as more time u spend in USA and be better able to manage your Nikah matter...

We can not predict what is in their mind...my first interview was fantastic and I thought my visa is done ... but CO handed me over a Green paper 221g and said u will be contacted by our Embassy within 3-4 months and if they may need any further document u plz provide...after 2 months they called me again for second interview and we really got surprised...this interview was excellent than first interview and I thought they are just gonna give me visa right now...CO looked so impressed & satified with my interview but now it is our 10th month in AP and we both are living together in Pakistan as well...so this all is to inform you to be patient and pray...I pray u get visa very soon. iA

I congratulate all those who have received good news this last month and those who are seeing consistent updates to their cases. AP is not for the fragile people for sure but for those who remain strong in their relationships and faith. We will be married 4 years in OCtober and I am leaving to visit in August for two weeks again. Our case has been reaffirmed and at the embassy since Nov and they have opened it in JAnuary for Review but here after almost 5 months we are still in AP with nothing to speak of happening to us. How is it that USCIS can receive the requested documentation and read through our 17 lb proof from us and the letter from the attorney and make a decision that we are indeed Bonafide married couple and genuine and after 2 weeks reaffirm but the embassy sits and sits on our case.

I will say it's all in Allah's timing and I do know that he has plans for us and there must be something waiting on the other side of this heartbreak.

Please keep us in your prayers as I do all of you... Inshallah our time will come

Janab Analyst Sahib,

Let me clarify, I was pointing to embassy waloun key tariff. Keh who her beneficiaries ko interview kay bad yeh keh dy tay haien " Every thing is ok, just littte bit more processing is needed in your case. Oh within couple of weeks or at the most in two months this processing will be completed". Phir days turn into weeks and weeks into months and months into years. In other words like Peer, Faqir in Pakistan, who ever goes to them they say "Jo tay rey mun key mourad hay. woh bohat jaldi, chand mahinou may pouri ho gy. So I was coming from that angle.

If you read my previous posts, In one post I stated, AP is JUST controlling method of immigration to USA. PURE and simple. Specially those categories doesn't come under world wide visa numerical. US Embassies specially 3rd world countries immigration flow are controlling with AP.

Sir this pure delaying tactics. AP is nothing more then to slow down the immigration flow from 3rd world countries to US. Koiey pouchay O BAYWAKOOF KAY BAACHO, interview sy phelay, her required document tum ko provide ki ya. Interview kay bad maan li ya. You have doubt, suspicion ya aur koiey kanjar kahna in VO/CO mind. Spell it out, so we know, what the hell VO/CO has in mind. AP is pure BULLSHIT.
