Oh Allah please help us get out of this AP hell. 15 months since my husband is in AP...Feeling so sad . Sent numerous emails to embassy but the embassy wont even consider our hardship and neither senators nor congressman can help....its really hard living here in Pakistan with a young baby in this summer season. Please pray for my husband so we can return back to USA...

Guide me senior members please...Nikaah is better after getting visa or after green card?

i ask this question in other section and got this reply ...

After you have the green card. Marriage will invalidate the visa since you would no longer be in the F2B category.

A visa is only for entering the US. As soon as you enter you should get a stamp in your passport that serves as a temporary green card until your arrives in the mail.

If you marry prior to entering the US you will invalidate your visa because it is based on the F2B category, unmarried child of an LPR and you would no longer be unmarried. There is no visa available for married children of an LPR.

The minute you enter the US your visa becomes invalid because you will have your green card (or stamp until the card arrives). So if you wanted to enter the US, go through customs, walk down the way, get on another plane, go home and marry, you are good to go because you are now a LPR.

Please, Please don't screw this up by getting married prior to entering the US

What do you think about this?
