New Islamabad AP-Tracker, Part II

Guys,

Many congrats to Soccer player and others who have been approved or issued a visa. My case is in AP since Oct, 2010, I got an email from embassy asking for medical, pics and DS-260, so that I can be given appointment for fingerprints and oath.

I sent these documents on Feb 16, 2014, on March 11 I got following email in response to my email:

Thank you for your email.

As per our record, the submitted documents have been received and similarly those documents are currently pending to be reviewed. Similarly, we already have received the DS confirmation page, and therefore subsequent appointment will be given to appear for the oath & fingerprints, to our office.

After this email, they send me routine AP emails in response. My case got updated many times in march and april. No update since April 29.

Anyone going or gone through similar situation, please let me know your experiences, I am getting a feeling like they have put me again in AP for unknown time.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences here for the new comers. I wish you all best of luck for your AP ending soon and getting visa.

do u have any change in ds230 to ds260?sccorplayer also spend 2 or 3 months after document submission.inshallah u w receive call soon.

Being optimistic since you have submitted the new ds form with valid docs till 6 months expiry you have better chances of getting your visa before july so hopefully you will hear something soon ...as far as my case i submitted fresh docs with ds230 back in jun2003 and i am expecting for resubmission of new form ds plus new docs end of June or july and then following oath/finger prints..but to be honest Embassy work is beyond our imagination as there is no pattern at all......

Congratulations Soccer Player.....I just want to let everyone know my husband finally received his 10 year green card after almost 3 month wait. He has also got 2 part-time jobs now and I will be driving him to these jobs until he is able to drive himself. God is good and we must all keep praying for one another. The embassy is not more powerful than God always remember that. I will continue to read this forum everyday waiting for each of you to get your visas and answer the questions that I can.

Being optimistic since you have submitted the new ds form with valid docs till 6 months expiry you have better chances of getting your visa before july so hopefully you will hear something soon ...as far as my case i submitted fresh docs with ds230 back in jun2003 and i am expecting for resubmission of new form ds plus new docs end of June or july and then following oath/finger prints..but to be honest Embassy work is beyond our imagination as there is no pattern at all......

Almost 3 years of AP and my husband went in for finger prints and oath yesterday and was approved!!! Alhamdulliah our status changed to issued today and i'm finally starting to believe that this is real. This journey has been so long and painful. I have appreciated all the support from fellow VJ memebers from ISB and congratulate everyone who has been issued and pray hard for those who are waiting. I especially pray hard for Eabbas, it's her turn next inshaAllah. I appreciate the friendships I have gained through this long painful journey, that is the only good thing that came out of being in AP I appreciate the help and guidance from Mohsin786 and Sam&Waq for this last step of our process and being there for me day and night, literally lol.

our last few weeks leading up to the issuance of the visa were very similar to Sam&Waq and Mohsin786.

sm2010 how long after ur documents submit they call for finger prints?

He received the call to submit ds260 and have his medical exam done etc on May 2nd. May 6th they received ds260 confirmation barcode. May 7th he had his medical exam. He picked up his reports on May 9th and we emailed the embassy to notify them that we have the reports ready. It was the weekend so he received the call on Monday May 12 to come in for finger prints and Oath on May 21st at 2 pm.

Congratulations . i was also in embassy last day on 21 may for oath and finger prints and also got call on 12th may ....

He received the call to submit ds260 and have his medical exam done etc on May 2nd. May 6th they received ds260 confirmation barcode. May 7th he had his medical exam. I have been on this forum for two years and I know u guys always stayed strong, stay blessed and please pray for us still in AP. my husband went for oath and fingerprints but they put him in AP again and its been almost four months since that and 20 months since our interview. Please pray for us.
