My update was also on April 29, 2014 that day my wife received call from Embassy to submit DS260. Which we did on May 1, 2014 and now update is May 1, 2014. I am hoping in next couple of a call from Embassy for 2nd interview. Is it true there is gap of couple of weeks between call and interview date? I told my wife not go for medical yet, until Embassy called and give you date for interview.

wow great news ..do not do anything on your own..please only do what Embassy asked for ..they might not need any additional doc..once forms are submitted again it goes back to CO to review then they do comparison if the info is accurate like same as before no big changes then ..look each Visa case is different, you might not even get a 2nd interview ..and get straight visa ..you never know..so finger crossed and all the best..and please please please pray for me as i did nt get any call yet and i am in AP for years and away from my wife n son in States..

Don't do that. If the embassy asked you to prepare the medical, prepare the medical. Ask your wife to get it done ASAP. When the embassy calls your wife (sometime this week or next) they will ask her if the medical and images is ready. Based upon that answer, they will give you the date for finger prints and oath. It's not an "interview." We were asked to submit the DS-260 and prepare the medical and images on April 1st of last month. We submitted the DS-260 on April 5th and let them know we had prepared the medical and mailed the confirmation bar code of DS-260. Got the call on April 9th to come in for the finger prints and oath on April 16th. They asked my husband if he had the medical and images and then asked him to bring it along with him. It said issued the next day on April 17th on the website. Whole process took 17 days.

P.S: My husbands interview was also in March 2013 (same time around yours).

DId you email the embassy the barcode having completed DS-260 online. Email the embassy ask if medical is required they probably want your wife to come for aoth and finger print. There isn't anything like 2nd interview your wife is just being called for finger print. They will ask your wife to bring medical and passport photo and then good news.

Analyst, thank you very for your encouraging words. Allah key aas per DS260 aapni tariff sy tou bar bar check ki ya tha. Ho sak ta hay phir bi koiey innocent mistake ho gaiey ho. I hope I did not made mistakes. What ever I had stated on DS230, I put on DS260. I am very bad record keeping. I can only hope I did not made mistake in DS260.

No they will call her for 2nd interview because the caller from Embassy said to my wife. Do no send your medical through courier. Bring sealed medical papersit with you. when you are called to come in.

Sir all of you are in my prayers. Tell the truth this AP process is not faire. I am for scrutiny for US visa seeks. if Embassy want to do it AP. Fine but they should not takes so long to process visa cases.

Thank you so much. After reading your post, I called my wife and asked her to make an appointment and get the medical done right away. She will call today and request to have an appointment for tomorrow.

Your post make sense, those who are gone through this process can guide better. Thank you very much again for your advice. Please keep us in your prayers.

U.S. Department of State
IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
Expiring Soon
Immigrant Visa Case Number: ISL2006xxxxxx 01 ISL Case Creation Date: 30-Jan-2006 Status Updated Date: 06-May-2014

Section 203(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act requires that your registration be canceled and any petition approved on your behalf canceled, if you do not apply for your immigrant visa within one year of being advised to do so.

You were advised of this requirement over 1 year ago, but we have not received a response from you since then. As a result, your application for a visa has been canceled and any petition approved on your behalf has also been canceled.

Your application may be reinstated and any petition revalidated if, within one year, you can establish that your failure to pursue your immigrant visa application was due to circumstances beyond your control. Please provide a written statement to the Embassy or Consulate outlining the circumstances beyond your control and noting that you still wish to pursue this visa petition.

Junaid Sahib, just send Embassy an email to continue AP in you case until AP completes. That's all.

If Embassy had requested fresh documents than you should hurry up and submit those documents.
