Question........I checked ceac.state.gov today and it says updated today 4/28/2014 but it still says ready shoukd I b concerned?

Congratulation to you, if web site state READY than in couple of days you should be receiving call from carrier to pickup passport.

well there is some age between me and my wife problem and i have only single name and some orther things could make me in ap longer i guess

Sajidla, I think my case is in AP for following reasons.

1) I was married in Jan. 2011 but filed case in May 2012 because of laziness. May be that raised, so called RED flag. Why I waited so long to file case?

2) Reason could be, the age difference between me and my wife. At the time of interview VO asked my wife about age difference. My wife replied to him age difference doesn't bother and not issue for her.

Rest ONLY GOD knows why and the reason VO put my case in AP. My case is now 14months in AP. In other words my case has seen 4 Season under the AP and now started the cycle again. Ouff Allah.... Hum to kis ko kuch keh be nahi sak tay.

APKartoos, my husbands interview was 4/21/14 and they told him the case was put on AP. Since 4/21/14 it says ready........i check everyday no updates until today 4/28/14 and the status remained on ready..........that is why i am asking if I should be concerned? Please help this is all new to me, does the status on ceac.state.gov ever go into AP?

Both emails meant the same ..as i have received same email reply ..now when was the last time you re submitted fresh medical and when its expiring? when was your interview ?

my interview was in january 2013.and i submitted new medical in december 2013.and now they will not ask for medicals.maybe they will ask for ds 260 or pictures

Well on this form there are two opinions. Some of thinks medical is valid for on year and some for 6 months. I really don't care too much about medical. It's only cost 10,000.00 rupees. Bottom line when visa will be issue?

On this form I have read some people have submitted 2, 3 times medical and still their cases are in AP. This totally unfair, if Embassy is not ready to issue visa. Why Embassy are requesting new medical? That I don't understand.

I think you should send an email to Embassy and ask for clarification. According to statement on Ceac statement, when ceac.state.gov states ISSUED than you receive visa in 2 to 3 business days.

In your case ceac states READY. That means the VISA is ready to be issued. There must be some formalities and paper work is being processed. I am pretty sure you will have an excellent news soon. Insha-Allah.

bro my medical expired in december 2013 cs in my case it was valid for one year.and than i resubmitted in end of december 2013 cs embassy asked for it.and i dont kn wat documents they ll ask from me now

Guys after the CR1 visa issued... what is this $165 to pay for ... it says you must pay it online to USCIS to recieve a green card. My question do I have to do this before departure or I can do it once in USA.

This shahnanay gan started last year I think in Feb. 2013 Green card processing fee. You can enter in the land of HONEY and MILK but until you do not pay $165.00. You will not be issue a license for a GAHRER JAWAIEY (In Urdu GAHRER JAMAIEY) .... LOL. In other words you will not receive CHAM CHA MA TA HO GREEN PAATA. Congratulation to you for receiving visa. green card ke fees pay ker do aur 2-3 months ke liye bhol jao us ko. mein ney 28 Jan ko fees pay ki thi, aur 11 Feb ko mein US aaya, USCIS per 25 April ko status change huwa ke ''On April 25, 2014, the production of your new card began. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. Aur ApKartoos kon issa kam hia jis mein 165 dollars 30 minutes mein bantay hain ?

salaam everyone, here is an update on our case my husband went to the embassy today for oath and fingerprints everything went okay, but as we had suspected before they give him his passport to have it renewed and send back to them, we had emailed them twice before and asked them to send the passport so he can have it renewed but they never send it, he was told that his administrative processing is finish, now lets see how long they will take to return his passport with visa once its renewed.

Can you share how long your administrative processing last,appreciate if you share how long you have waited....you are almost done,just send them passport ASAP.It will be done very soon Inshallah...

My interview was on 20th of September 2013, but before this I was on K1 , my ap wasnt long comparing to others but I my immigration processing started since 2011
