Next week or two are very important for most of us.. hoping to see some positive results " visas issued"

You are absolutely right, next few weeks are very crucial about our case. My feeling and 6th sense say we will receive call or email for sub mission of DS260, medical and pictures. Followed by an oath etc. Insha Allah soon AP will be thing of the past. Ameen Soma Ameen.

Is your case is also updating frequently in month od April 2014?

Passport and visa in hand. Thank God. I looked at the visa. It says CR-1 for the IV category. We got married on Jan 14 2012 and got our visa issued on April 17 2014. We have been married for more than two years. Shouldn't it be IR-1? I don't care about having to file and pay again but I just want to be done with the immigration department already. Can he talk to the cousleor at the port of authority and show him the marriage certificate?

its has to be a IR1 visa as your marriage is over 2 years but you may try emailing back to the embassy to correct it may be they are considering the date you applied your petition...

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. I'm not sure what date they consider but even with the I-130 petition, my NOA-1 date is March 06, 2012. That also makes it more than two years. Given the choice between dealing with embassy or the Immigration Department in USA, I will take my chances with the department here. Embassy will have to yank the passport out of my (or my husbands) hands if they want to take touch it again. Hell no I'm going back to that route again. I will call NVC later and if that doesn't work out, I just suck it up and count my blessings.
