Hi guys,

I have a really dumb question so please excuse my ignorance. My husband was issued the visa, and he picked up the packet from AMEX last week. The welcome letter they give him with the visa packet says that he needs to bring the packet, original documents and his x-rays when we comes to the US. The embassy did not return the x-rays submitted with the medical. However, he has the x-ray CDs that were given to him with by the medical center when we got his medical done. Is that what he needs to bring with him at the POE?

Praying for all of you - I know it's a long and painful process as we were in AP for almost 2 years.

Thank you for your help.

They did 2 field investigations of my husband. First time our visa was denied as embassy said none of his neighbors knew about the marriage and that we were not legally married in Pakistan because I am Christian and he is Muslim. We hired a lawyer and won our appeal. We are legally married in Pakistan and we sent letters from his friends and family that knew about the marriage. While we were in AP again they did another field investigation asking people about his character and if he had ever been in trouble with the law.

We waited for months after that 2nd field investigation and then saw issued.

Thanks for your information share...we already submitted our pics (alone and with family members) and also provided them our Internet meetings history, gifts, wedding rings where as our both religion is same (Muslim) and we are legally married (But I was in Paki & She was in US)...so u have any idea in such stronger case Embassy may issue the visa without further delay?
