Guys my interview was on 29th july...i went fr medical on 20th july....the embassy has still not contacted me for medical..is the medical expiry after 6 months or 1 year? And what other documents can they ask from me?

And congrats for the visa zara!!! May we all get our visa soon...not even a single person in this forum is stuck in AP....Ameen!!

in 8 days i got 4 updates by the grace of Almighty Allah, starting from 19, 21, 24, and 27.

Hello Mohsin..my status dates changed 6 times this month but again case is still on AP bit sure whats going on ..i submitted fresh docs back in June2013..what are your thoughts how soon will i get my IR1 visa? also have you heard anything yet or whats your online status says?

I received 5 updates during the month of March. The dates are - 03, 04, 05, 07, 14.

anything positive yet or still case shows AP? mine updated 6 times in march but still on AP... please share your thoughts or what do you think when they can issue visa my fresh docs sent back in june2013 will expire in coming June2014...

in my view updates are very important, when updates made meaning CO is actively working on your case and CO puts the info in the database though his computer that's when on each date case updates. when updates stops all of a sudden it means they need to scrutinize something

in your case for a while it could take any amount of time which we can never predict so stay positive inshallah i'm pretty optimistic who ever is

receiving updates constantly they will surely hear good news. so far i have gotten 10 updates for this month my last update was march 26

So I got off the phone with NVC and they told me that according to the last update on my case, the embassy will be contacting my husband soon to go for oath and some documents, I have no clue what the documents are, but mu husband think that since they didint take his pictures on the day of the interview,that maybe thats what they want. However I would like to ask everyone that after you go for oath, how long after do they normally take to make their decision, I am afraid to get happy cuz you never know with the embassy what to expect.

My fiance had his oath on feb.24, on march 6 his creation date changed and from immigrant it changed to non-immigrant, and you are right you never know what to expect with them we really thought that was the end of our wait and how wrong we were.

Also, I emailed the embassy to get an update, and they replied with the usual ap, but what I found strange is that when they reply the status date changes, but ours didn't.

I have no idea why they changed to non-immigrant but even we were in K1 then it was sent back, so we decided to get married rather than wait.
