It should not affect your process much.

Travel can lengthen AP a bit but it is usually not a big deal.

Yes, it is good bona fide relationship proof that you all live together.

A work visa to Dubai should be no issue. They may require a police certificate from there, did you submit one ?

Hi, many thanks for your comments Ebunoluwa, no they have not asked fr a Dubai police certificate....

One more thing...today i called the nvc and they told me that my AOS is still not reviewed by the ISL EMBASSY which i resubmitted after my interview on 29th july

and they have also not asked for a medical as more than six months has passed.....also they are not updating my case since november....they only update when i write to them...

Dear i am upset because of this process .after the end of every year embassy ask for fresh documents and updated case 5 to 6 time then stop and no news ,now its 4th documentation i have sent to embassy .. many peoples got call for finger prints and oath after 1 week ofsending fresh documents .

I sent 12 email inquirey to us embassy islamabad with in 2 months but didnt reply me.

Is that any problem guys? My medical also expired on 11 march.

My last update was 12 and 13 march

US Embassy KNOWS 200% that these marriages are REAL, BONA FIDE and have no suspicion or fraud. But they deliberately put people in AP. AP is not a tool used for delay in family based immigration but also used for delays in employment based visas and other categories.

I guess US Government is giving a message to their citizens that they should live without any interaction with external world. No body from US should ever fall in love with an alien or marry an alien. Before anyone finds someone whom he/she thinks is his/her dream boy/girl SHOULD sternly tell himself/herself that I have no right to have any interaction with him/her because I am American and my government has not given me such a right. What a pity.

My wife has developed hypertension and she is totally stressed due to loneliness. What to do except waiting, we both dont know.

All the humans suffereing from loneliness whether they are posting or not on VJ are HUMANS after all. Why does US Embassy want all of us to suffer?

If uscis approve petition after every background check and if they clear every risk about immigration then what problem with embassy why they put everyone in Ap.2nd is Our Pakistani Government dont wana help peoples who want to migrate to usa.Administrative process working in every country where is usa embassy working but other countries have shorter Ap time and Ap for pakistani peopels is very lenghty .

i saw many peoples left their job and study only for usa immigration visa and us embassy ruins their life in Ap hell. same happend with me .i am away from my family and i left study and job also because i think before interview that i am going to usa for new life.its my big mistake of my life .

HI VJ MAMBER I M SO UPSET MY INTERVIW WAS 10 JUNE 2013 AFETR INTARVIW THE CONSALAR OFFICAR DENIED . They gave ME a document that said "Your petitioners income is not enough to sponsor you. A joint sponsor is needed." It was asking to send a recent i-864 from a qualifying sponsor. They also kept MY passport.

I SENT THE DOCMENTS ON 10 OCT 2013 THY UPDAT MY CASE ON 21,22,23,OCT 2013 BUT ON 26 DEC 2013 THY CALL ME AND ASK ME DIFFRENT questions THEN ON 6 JAN 2014 THY CALLED AGINE AND ASK FOR MORE ON GOING

Relationship pic which i had only 2 in my cellphone i print that and sent them by aex then i got updat regular i like 17,jan31email then3,4,5,10,11,12,13,18,19,21,24,26,27,march 3,5,7,10,14,then my hasband came to pakistan we sent our more pics to embassy then got 18 ,20,21,i emile embassy than i got this emile

As per our available record, this visa case is still part of an integral administrative processing, that can neither be waived nor expedited. Though, we certainly understand the importance of family reunion, and also aware about the frustration often caused by the delay.

Unfortunately, we are unable to predict the amount of time this process will require. However, it is imperative to mention that as soon as this process is concluded, we will move forward regarding this case, and will make contact accordingly.

Your not alone, our case has been in AP for 18 months now and I have emailed embassy 4 times since feburary. They don't update or reply its frustrating. Last update was on its own on March 14.

That just simply means they are still working on your case and they can't tell you when it will finish. When they get to the point where they either need more information or are ready to issue the visa they will contact the beneficiary.

Just be patient they will work on the case, it seems they are working much harder and faster this year on the cases but not so much on the ones that have been sent back and returned as reaffirmed.

All of us here are at the same page of AP.......and when we ask embassy we get the same reply as you mentioned. So all we can do is to wait and pray bcz it can be couple of month to many months. If they ask you any documents then you can send them.

Putting males on AP is understandable because of past cases of visa frauds but why females are kept on AP.

Do they think that Pakistani females are doing visa frauds also? LOL.
