My husband waited 15 months for 2nd interview call. Yes they also do field investigations on female beneficiary. You will know that they have been out asking questions because your friends and neighbors will tell you.

Sometimes in AP they also investigate the petitioner as well as the beneficiary. They want to make sure the petitioner doesn't have a police record and other things.

They did a field investigation of my husband twice. The first times was before our visa was denied and the second time was after our case was reaffirmed.

We sent the new medical last Tuesday Dec 3rd through Amex. Our date is updated today Dec 9th. I think they updated their system with the new medical.

15 months after reaffirmation or after your case come to embassy? they didnt do any investigation in our first interview.and how they contact to our friends as they didnt know name of our friends .Sorry i ask lot of question but i am curious about this.

plz can someone told me that at ceac site when they replying now y my update is not changing before it its change all d the timw when they reply me but still from the last 2 month its stuck

He had his interview 15 months after the case came back to the embassy. Sense his interview the embassy has not worked on our case.

When they do the field investigation they have a picture that you sent to the embassy. They talk to shopkeepers and people on the street. They also go to your closest neighbors. They are very good at getting information from people that know you. If people don't know that you are married they will say you married just to get the visa.

Hi Every1 i went to the embassy. As they called me to come again for the fingerprints and oath.

So i went in told the guard i was called. Gave him my old interview letter. He went in after a while came back and said you can go in.Instead of going to the fingerprinting room i was told to go sit in the main interview hall.

Waited like 40 mins and then was called to window 5. The lady asked y i was here told her that. After that she gave me a token and told me to sit down.

After that waited again and after 30 mins was called again. The lady asked me for my DOB then gave me a page to read. N i smiled n asked should i read it loud n she said no just in ur heart and tell me when your done. After that she told me to put my fingers on the reader. And thats it she said i can go. I asked is that all she said yes. Since we have got a new system now thats why we needed your fingerprints again.

And the she said was let me check your visa. She was confused after a while she was yea ur approved. And i left. Checked my status and it was ready. And today it changed to Issued.

So exactly after 14 months. Therez been a few ppl who gt approved after 14 mnths recently. I hope every1 gets out of this AP soon.

Yes, this is what they wrote in the email when I asked for the status of the case.

"WE would like you to know that the available medical in the subject immgrant visa case file expires on December 31, 2013. Therefore, the visa issued will only be valid upto this date. If applicant wants to have a full six month validity visa, a new medical must be submitted immediately."

Hello Everyone,

I hate to bother you all but i have a small favor to ask. Does anyone know what form needs to be filled out after you spouse has been in the states for one year? My wife's vise was approved last year and she has been here in the states for one year. Someone told me there is a form that needs to be filled out and submitted to USCIS. I went on there website, but could not find it. Any help will be appreciated.
