No update dear yet

Soccerplayer, Maabish, Faisal, 300, Prince, Alipdx, Sajida anyone got update today

From my prospective age difference isn't an issue it's probably a red flag

i remember when i had my interview for K-1 CO asked my wife he doesn't want to be rude

but there is a age difference between me and my wife. i ended up getting AP not cos of

age gap. again i had to go for my interview for my CR-1 visa another CO raised the same

question believe me, he told me he is giving me the visa today approving me.

knowing that there is a age difference, what merely put me on AP was the last name

thing. so every CO determines each case from his own prospective, every case differs

i don't think age difference can ever prolong your time period of AP, there are variety

of things need to be done. as far as Pakistan is concerned which is our native land

Pakistan isn't only the country where people have been confronting longer AP.

if you ever a glance on different countries portal you will notice that too.

People are Afghanistan, India, KSA, UAE, Morroco, Amman and rest alot

Have been going to longer AP, Some fraud countries Like Nigeria, Dominic Republic

They get refusal on Spot , if you research more you will acquire precise information

we only make our own assumptions, we don't even know what exactly causing us this

AP, i have seen folks carrying out Plenty of evidence yet they are put in AP

so we can never know,

I don't what else will satisfy ISB US Embassy or people responsible for processing AP. The only other thing comes to my mind is to submit video of intimate moments with wife or better yet perform live show in front of ISB US Embassy staff.

I bet they will say this act is fake too and my case will be still in AP.

biggrin.pngbiggrin.pngbiggrin.pngbiggrin.pngbiggrin.pngbiggrin.png HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Very true brother. LOL that would really happen even if we would send the videos of our private moments to the VO.

Maybe VO wants to see that, thats why prolonging AP and waiting for a law to be enacted so they can ask for such.

Happy Anniversary Faisal. I pray this is the last one you will have to spend in AP.

Yes the embassy does look at age when making their decision. They were given the power to deny visa's for almost any reason. They claim to know Pakistani culture and what a Pakistani will and will not do. They forget that half of the couple is American and used to doing things the American way.

I didn't want a big wedding and didn't see the need for one. The embassy said all Pakistani's have big weddings so this is one of the reasons they denied us. They said a Christian from another country couldn't marry a Pakistani Muslim they were wrong about that. The embassy cheated me and my husband out of many happy years together but the reason my husband got his visa is that we never gave up. We had 3 lawyers working on our case. I wrote letters to the embassy, Department of State and the President of the United States.

At his last interview they had 3 men interview my husband. They shouted at him and offered him a work visa. He said no I want to be with my wife. He stayed calm and answered all their questions. They told him they could tell that his wife loved him very much and if he got the visa part of the reason would be due to her.

These days I try not to think about the embassy because I get so angry about the way they treated us. Everyday I check on here to see how you guys are doing and offer prayers for you.

My advice is to stay calm and keep praying. Don't give up and don't be ashamed to let the embassy know that you love your wife of fiance. Fight them by staying on top of your case and if they deny your visa be ready to fight some more. I married my husband to spend my life with him. No matter how long it took I was determined he was going to get his visa.

Carolyn long ago I requested you to kindly post some of the photographs of you and your husband in the states.

Oh btw, did USCIS send you RFE because we were sent RFE before our petition got approved and we replied every question they asked with detailed answers and documentary prooves.

I am so disappointed because didnt know about these things which I am reading nowadays on visajourney.com. Dont know when I and my wife would be together permenantly.

We also have the typical red flags but just because of this it doesnt mean we dont have a real relationship. We took proof of our relationship such as emails before and after marriage, him added to my accounts as benefiicary or Paid on death, wedding pics, letters from family and friends etc to the interview and they refused to see it.

With our NOIR it specifically stated we didnt have any proof of relationship prior to marriage or after at the interview. However, with our NOIR we sent in 17 lbs of proof for the things in which they suspected for non bonafide marriage. (including a letter from my dr saying that we are wanting to have a baby and that i've consulted with him so that i understand i am high risk due to my diabetes but that we are still planning to see a dr when he comes in hopes we have our own baby) as they also stated we didnt have a baby... (well we didnt because if i end up in trouble with the high risk of the pregnancy i have no one here to take care of me or bring in income if i cant work)

We didnt' have a large wedding by pakistani standards but we still had about 100 ppl at the Valima. We also did not want to be in debt starting our marriage so even tho it wasn't huge it was the best decision for us.

They never asked for any other proof even tho during the long AP we asked if they needed anything...

We were reaffirmed within two weeks of submitting the evidence.

All we can do now is wait and pray that this next time at the interview they see that we do indeed have a real relationship. We have always understood the need to do background checks and good work on the case but at what point is truly enough?

Happy Anniversary , Happy birthday, Congrats to all those receiving updates and visas!!!

PRaying for all of you... please keep us in your prayers!

I will try to post a picture of me and my husband.

We never got an RFE from USCIS. It only took 4 months for our petition to be approved. We got through NVC in 3 weeks. Our troubles started once our case got to the embassy

How to call NVC and which extension should dial so u can save time and call

1(603) 334-0700. Extension 3. It works best if you call early in the morning (5:00 pm Pakistan time in evening) - hold time is less and the number isn't busy.
