my case date changed on 8th and den on 9th of dec. i am surprised who was in embassy on sunday? i didn't send any email as well ..is this a good sign ? 9 month in AP now

It is a good sign but they need to keep working on your case and then contact you.

Most of the time nobody knows why they are in AP for such a long time. My husband has been in AP 17 months. We know the embassy sent 2 men out to his city and they asked his friends and neighbors questions about him. They called him in for another interview at the end of October but haven't worked on our case sense November 4th.

What goes on in AP is supposed to be a secret.

Hey Everyone!

My fiance had his interview the first week of October, and the embassy told us no more than 2 months. DOS told us that the visa should have been issued before Thanksgiving and said that the AP was already done. Two months have already passed, and the last update on our case was on Nov 7th. Everytime I email the embassy I get the standard AP email. My question is that why are they not issuing the visa if the AP is already done?

More and more often the embassy is sending people out to ask questions about the beneficiary. They ask the neighbors if they know that the beneficiary is married or has he/she ever been in trouble with the police? They ask all kinds of questions trying to find out something bad about the beneficiary

Sometimes DOS gives out the wrong information. What does it say on the ceac website? Does it still say AP? If the ceac website and the embassy is saying you are in AP then they are not ready to issue the visa.

CEAC still says AP, but the representative at DOS told me that this was a great interview and the comments were all good and I had nothing to worry about. He also told me that the visa should be issued anytime now and cannot figure out what the delay is. I know the embassy is working backwards nowadays!

i wana ask when they send person in ur husband,s neigbors after AP .i mean when u file appeal or before deniel visa or when u again come in AP after appeal?

Carolyn how long your husband wait for 2nd interview call. And tell me did they inquire about female beneficiary too by sending their field inspector.
