Atleast embassy start working on my case update on 3rd March and 5th March .....

Soccer.player,

that is good :) you should hear a good news soon. good luck. DId the embassy asked for new documents on thier own? or you asked on yourself to submit new documents?

It appears our case is being sent back for revocation. Can anyone advise of next steps?

If your case send back for revocation then now its a long process and you have to wait for the next step that when your file send back to USCIS . It may be take 3 months or may be year depend when they send your file back , then they send you the notice what they ask want you as evidence.

No, there has been no notification from the embassy. I called NVC and they said USCIS requested my case back. I am waiting to hear from my congressman. There was another status update today so I am hoping they answered her inquiry. I am praying this is all just a terrible mistake.

Aisha...I see in your timeline says at the time of interview your visa was denied. Have you been reaffirmed and had a second interview? What is your current status?

I forgot to post the congressional response here in this thread:

I received a response from the Embassy, but I have not yet received one from the CSC. Here is what the Embassy said:

Thank you for contacting the Immigrant Visa Unit. We received word from the National Visa Center on March 5th that USCIS was requesting the file be returned to them. We will be sending the file back to NVC through the diplomatic pouch in the next few days and any original documents or passports in the file will be returned to the applicant through the Embassy’s courier service. Alas, we have no information as to why USCIS requested the file be returned to them.

So USCIS said they don't request files back, the embassy said they do not know why the file was requested back. Is this a mistake? Did they request the wrong file? I have no idea what is going on here.
