Case status date change again today it' was changes last month 4 time after six months what's mean by that?

When your case status changes it means they are working on your case or answering an email that you sent.

well im still in AP but i know a single woman, F4 category, and got visa 2 weeks ago after 13 months of AP, her brother and his family got it after 8 months and 2 of her other siblings got it at the interview about a year ago. but we are still in ap. 8 months going.

I guess f4 takes time. 2 years and going in AP.

Guys, Alhamdolillah, CEAC shows issued!!!!!!!!!

My husband's interview was in october 2012. Our case did not update at all until November 2013 unless I emailed them. Upon emailing, they told me to resubmit medical etc. at the end of September. Our case updated on 5th November (that's when they received our documents), then on 20th, 21st, 28th, 29th november, 2nd december and 5th december and finally on 6th it showed ISSUED alhamdolillah!!!!!

I had totally lost hope since our case was not being updated at all but thanks Allah Almighty, it says issued now. We will pick up my husband's passport as soon as we get the call from AMEX!!

Congrats! So happy to hear about your news! My husband had interview on Oct 1, 2012 and our case has been updating frequently in the past few days and they also requested docs couple weeks ago. Please remember all of us in AP in your prayers.

thanks caroly and faisal, my first medical i gave them with my interview time. so guys what do i do can i will send the new medical to them or wait? and one more thing first time they updated my case with out i sending the email to them today, and as u know today is embassy close.

u do nt menstioned when was ur interview 1 year back or 6 month?becoz embassy was asked my medical after 1 year becoz it expired but now after 6 month they ask me new medical.i was asked the doctor he tells me now after 6 month medical expired.

when i was send my medical embassy again ask me for medical after 20 days when i was inqry.then i send them document shipment detail .after few day they fund my papers.so plz write on detail then we can say some thing

seems like they are working working backwards and are doing one month at a time. doesnt make sense at all but i guess thats what they are doing. presently it seems they are working on cases who had interviews in oct 2012. wonder when they will get to feb 2012.

it would make more sense to work forward and start with the older cases since those r the people who have waited longer and have their misery continuing for a while now. but oh well. what can one do or say!

I've been following your discussions and seeing how patiently you ppl are undergoing the AP hassle! Hats off!

So most of you are spouses waiting to reunite with your better halfs, so you patience naturally boosts my morale.. im a single, *peace loving* Pakistani (seems like an oxymoron!) and was granted the fulbright award for 2013-14 session at U of California LA for MS program. By my sheer stupidity and naivete, I resigned frm a well-paying job back in July in anticipation of my visa. I was interviewed on May 31,2013 first for fall '13 intake. WIDH id seen this forum then and waited before resigning/study leave..! Anyway, my belief is that Allah has the best of plans.

Fulbright visa is J1 exchange scholar and normally its never a problem (96% of ppl leave on time). My visa was issued (yes :/) on oct 25th but the embassy wanted a new DS2019(or I20) with new dates of Jan '14 intake as my fall session dates had passed. So they sent back my passport to usefp (which coordinates visa issues n stuffon our behalf)!

Smehow, USEFP only got revised ds2019 on Nov 20 and hooked me up fr interview on nov 25. As expected I was again handed over the AP slip most prolly becoz of common name (Muhammad!) which Im proud of

So here I am waiting for my visa to magically appear before Jan 10 2014 so that I may attend the spring session. They usually try getting visas on time and its my second AP so i have hopes!

What I need are your prayers! You ppl have extremely strong nerves and I really feel the agony of you guys waiting to unite and start a settled family life. My prayers for you, every day in AP or any other 'wait' for that matter, was predestined!

Also, do you perhaps suggest emailing the embassy *reminding* them i'll be screwed again! :/

p.s my sister already went this fall for her ms on the same fulbright program. no visa hassles for her!
