A 13-foot boa constrictor wrapped itself around its owner's neck and killed the man in his home, authorities said.

As the old sayin goes,"Mess with the bull and get a taste of the horns." Or is it, "Don't play with matches and you won't get burned."

The guy should have gotten a hampster if he wanted companionship. They are cute and not so deadly. ;)

I'm sure he thought it was "docile", at least up until the time it killed him.

My boa is only about 5 feet long. I wonder how much damage he could do...???

He might not be able to kill you, but I'm betting your cute doggy (in your avatar) would make a damn fine meal for him... :P

The guy probably manipulated rodents or scared the snake before it happened.....There is always a mistake behind that kind of incident. Unfortunately.

And most owners do the mistake of feeding their snake in the terrarium. So whenever you open it they think its food time...

There is a lot to learn from these pets.

And just on the side im happy I got my exportation papers yesterday for my Ball python to move her with me from Canada to US when I get my K-1 visa ! :)
