1. Where in Indiana do you live? That will determine where your local office is.

2. Jurisdiction basically just means that the local office now is handling your case.

3. I don't know. It depends how backed up the local office is.

I received an email from them too that my case got transferred too.. But how come I received it twice yesterday at 10pm and today at 5AM? how many times should they transfer my case?

On November 21, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

DOES ANYBODY KNOWS HOW LONG IT TAKES A i-130 TO BE APPROVED??? ON 11/19/13 I GOT AND EMAIL FROM USCIF SAYING THAT MY CASE WAS TRANSFERRED TO MY LOCAL USCIF OFFICE.....I NEED SOME GUIDANCE...MY HUSBAND FILED MY PETITION ON FEB 2013 AND I HAD TO WAIT 9 MONTHS TO RECEIVE MY FORST NOTIFICATION......NEED SOME HOPE...THANK YOU

Takes roughly the same time when underlined and in caps as it normally would. Currently up to a year.

Yes, I received the same email and text notification. Only when my husband, the petitioner, received the letter did we know that is was transferred to Nebraska. I did see a vast improvement on the processing times, I am a March/April 2013 filer.

25-March-2013 - I-130 petition sent to Chicago Lockbox


29-March-2013 - NOA1


14-November-2013 - Notice of transfer to Nebraska Service Centre from NBC


08-January-2014 - Approved!


21-January-2014 - NVC Received


04-March-2014 - Case # and Invoice # received via phone (Mailed today)


05-March-2014 - DS-261 available and submitted to NVC


12-March-2014 - Sent ENROLL for EP EMAIL


21-March-2014 - AOS fee shows paid


28-March-2014 - Approved for EP Enrollment OPTIN


17-April-2014 - Paid IV fee payment of $230


23-April-2014 - DS-260 available and submitted


15-May-2014-1st Check-list for AOS


21-May-2014-Send AOS checklist item


5-June-2014-Check-list for DS-260


10-June-2014- Sent checklist item


25-June-2014-NVC agent said case was "scanned in" although I am EP


31-July-2014-Case complete - found out via calling NVC


14-August-2014-Received Interview date via calling NVC


29-September-2014-Interview Scheduled (moved from Sept 22 for work reasons)


01-October -2014 - Passport delivered and VISA in hand

I got this message after like two hours..

December 21, 2011 - Got Married in the Philippines

December 21, 2012 - Went back in the Philippines for first anniversary.

USCIS

June 11, 2013 - I-130 sent

June 17, 2013 - NOA1

November 21, 2013 - Case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center

December 5, 2013 - I-130 approved via email

December 9, 2013 - receive hard copy of NOA2

receive email that case was shipped to NVC

January 6, 2014 - NVC received the case ( no case number yet )

January 29, 2014 - Receive case number, invoice and beneficiary ID number

February 7, 2014 - DS261 available online and submitted

February 10, 2014 - received an email regarding AOS processing fee bill invoice

February 10, 2014 - was able to pay AOS online

Februay 12, 2014 - AOS showed PAID on line/ AOS package sent ( one day delivery)

February 13, 2014 - NVC received the package

February 18, 2014 - AOS was entered in the system

February 24, 2014 - received an email to pay IV fee, paid IV fee, IV fee in process

February 27, 2014 - DS-260 available online, completed and filed up. IV package sent (one day delivery)

February 28, 2014 - IV package received at the "dock"

March 4, 2014 - IV package was entered to the system

March 7, 2014 - Received a checklist for AOS (GGGGRRRRRR!!!!)

March 10, 2014 - Respond to the checklist ( sent package via UPS)

March 11, 2014 - Package received @ the dock

March 19, 2014 - IV package and DS260 approved (via phone call)

March 27, 2014 - Case Completed ( called NVC 2X just to make sure, now waiting to be forwarded to Manila Embassy Yehey!!!)

March 26, 2014 - Early Medical (No problem however hubby needs to go back to St Luke's for the vaccinations once his renewed passport arrived )

MAY 6, 2014 - Interview @ 0615 (APPROVED!!!!)

May 9, 2014 - visa picked up from to go

May 9, 2014 - Booked flight for hubby

May 11, 2014 - Hubby's Flight from Philippines to USA (yahoo!!!! 2 more days!!! I will be with him forever!!!)

1st where is the local office ??

2nd what the mean by jurisdiction on my case??

Is this mean that the approval is close??
