Waiting to get a positive nvc reply

Hello everyone,

I the petitioner have submitted almost all the required documents NVC needs for the case. Now it is the TIME period that can make one impatient. I am just praying and wishing NVC gives us an interview date soooonnnnnnnnnn...............God knows better though!

Any idea how long they take before scheduling the interview? I filed my husbands case last year Augut 2012 now its been more than a year.....I tend to get worrisome and ofcourse desperate for the case to get completed.....hopefully soon INSHA ALLAH !!! God is Great !!!

Also the reason for the delay is cause i went back to Pakistan and stayed for quite a while but now i am back in the U.S.

Hang in there.. it took 9 months to just get i-130 approved.. almost a year and we are still nowhere..

Btw Can you tell me who fills the Ds-260 form and where?

and who submits original documents the petitioner or the beneficiary?

The ds-260 is suppose to be filled out by the beneficiary whereever he or she is.. The original docs are submitted by the beneficiary or they can mail it to their petitioner and the petitioner can mail it to nvc...
