She can order a tax return transcript free from the IRS. They mail them out quickly. Then that's it. No forms 123 or schedule XYZ and no W2 from the employer. It is a condensed version from the IRS.

This is the online order for the transcript. She wants tax return, not record of account. http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

Managed to log on to this website (took a while as it kept having server errors) and downloaded my wife's last three years of return transcripts as PDF files - so straight forward. That's all she needs, right? Three years return transcripts each. Sorted! Now just have to get the mother in law to do the same.

Honestly I would say our timelines are almost identical, but my medical was the 25th and I didn't do my DS-260/Notification of Readiness until last Saturday. Also still waiting on a date for the interview, thinking I'll call them a week Monday (once two weeks has passed) and ask them if one has been set (assuming I haven't heard back at that stage). Let me know when you get a date!

We got a date yesterday, but only because we contacted the Embassy via their contact us form. they replied within 2 hours which is completely insane. Our CEAC status has not update since the 23rd, but apparently we were issued an interview letter on the 3rd Feb. Our interview is 20 Feb - two weeks from today!

Keep me posted on your timeline!

That's good to know! Does the clock start ticking for interview from when they recieve the medical or the DS-260/NOR? Guessing it's whichever is latest, which puts us about nine days behind you I think. Best of luck, let me know how you get on!

Just checked my CEAC status, it had been saying Status Updated Date: 31-Jan - 2014, but has changed to 07-Feb-2014 - hopefully this means they've set a date for our interview. Have emailed the Embassy contact form on the off chance.

Got our date on Saturday 15th, was assigned Thursday 13th - it's for March 13th :( Long way off for some reason, but gives us time to prepare I suppose.
