can DCF be file from nigeria?

Nigeria does not offer DCF as there is no USCIS office in teh consulate/embassy. You can mail your package to the lockbox in Chigago for processing, Remember that the USC who is currently living in Nigeria must show intent to retutn to the US and be able to cover the affidavit of support either directly or with co sponsors

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Hi everyone, am married to usc and would like to know if dcf (cr1) can be file from nigeria and if so pls what is the procedure and how long is this process normally takes. thamks

No DCF in Nigeria. And DCF is only for USC's living and being a permanent resident of the country the interview will be anyway. They will send to either Chicago lockbox if they are livign abraoad or Phoenix.

The process to NOA2 is estimating 12 to 16 months now. Than off to NVC for another 2 to 4 months until interview. You are looking at a long wait. Could be less. Lets hope so.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Ok thanks. Am new here. How long normally does this process take and which one to file first. I-130 and then the cr1. Pls kindly put me through?

The petitioner will file the I-130 and send to either Chicago or Phonis Lockbox. I would read the guides at the top of the page you will need to prepare a very thorough package of evdience this is Lagos and the hIghest fraud embassy on earth so you must prepare.
