We are following Hank's guide to setup my fiancee's interview and we are just confused as to what receipt number to use. My fiancee printed out the deposit slip for the $240 fee prior to going at BPI. She paid the fee and was given a receipt. Now what throws me off is what receipt number to use to schedule the interview. Is it the deposit slip that she printed that says "receipt number" ( about 9 digits) or the non descript BPI receipt that was given to her after she made payment. TIA.

I paid my visa fee last Monday and I used the receipt number from the deposit slip that I printed (online). I was able to schedule my interview 5 hours after payment.

Sorry about the confusion, embassy instructions for sure are not the clearest (which I copy). I made an adjustment to the site regarding the receipt number.

Hi Hank! I guess the confusion came from BPI handing out applicants their own Bank's deposit slip forms aside from the one that was printed online by the applicant. That confused my fiance as well and I told him to copy the 9-digit Receipt Number that was generated online as instructed by your link. BPI used their own deposit slip for teller's validation and receipt of payment purposes but still is important for proof of payment/required during the interview.

So, for all other applicants that will pay for visa, as mentioned in your link, should take the 9-digit Receipt Number generated online. Also make sure that it matches the number that is validated on the BPI Deposit Slip form.

For sure the 9 digit number has to match the BPI receipt and if it doesn't the bank receipt number most likely will be the number that will be accepted when scheduling online.

And yes you need to bring both to the interview (so staple them together)

Thank you for the clarification. I was able to make an appointment for her interview. Now she can do her medical and CFO while waiting for her Feb. interview.
