I want say we got notice of the interview about 5 days later or so and I believe we also got e-mails. It was crazy quick.

starting to worry, it has been 12 days since packet 3 submission and still no answer. I also sent originals like requested in packet 3 so if it is lost trying to reaquire proof of birth without birth certificate from Burma would take so much time (and $) that my application would expire...

It is a busy time over there. (just finishing Lay Krathong) I wouldn't worry yet. Drop them an email. inquire if they have received the P3.

I assume you asked for Thai post tracking. You can add the delivery date and signature to the email.

Don;t use khwaidee1 as a benchmark. They got it extremely quickly. VJ data indicates you are right on there time wise.

I like to fly eau claire to chicago and then take korean air to bkk. she would really like me to fly over to pick her up, then she could take 4 suit cases also, so i might do a after chistmas fly over and then fly back when her thai visa expires on the 21st of jan. it would be my first winter in WI in the last 10 years.

I feel your pain, this is my first winter in almost a decade. NOT looking forward to it.

Jin flew over alone. Huge leap of faith on her part. She said her biggest fear was that I would not be at the airport to meet her.

Korean is the way to go. Top notch airline.

I'll have to check Korea Air's layover schedule in Seoul. I flew Asiana R/T last time and it was good. But on the way back to the US the layover was like 10 hours. Price and service were worth it but that's the longest layover I've ever had. I bought a pass to the lounge for about $ 25 I think, free food and beer.

Also does anyone have any tips on buying a one way ticket. I'll come pick her up in California but I don't want to come over just for a week or so.

i think if you call asaiana on a flight with a long layover they give you a free hotel room

one way tickets are expensive, check multiple airports, even small ones near you
