Finally sent our I-130/1-485 packet today, and I am SO RELIEVED!!! Now it's just a waiting game... My husband is in the army, and their immigration assistance person was extremely helpful! I initially put all of our paperwork together, had all the forms and evidence prepared and ready, but she helped with doing the final check, helping us where we had missed or filled something out wrong, and just finalizing the process. Helped us put the packet together and getting it ready to mail put in the mailbox, and on top of that made us a copy of the whole thing for our files. Just knowing that someone who knows what they're doing looks through it before sending is a great relief! And the best thing... it's a FREE service!! I hope all of you with a military connection take advantage of this!
