I agree. I don't even think there is a sinister meaning to it because Palin would be incapable of such sophistication.

I do believe however that the image was meant to pander to the wingnuts. In this country, putting a cross-hairs on top of someone is, imho, akin to incite violence.

Regardless, America is yet to hear an apology from Palin, if only for her disgusting poor taste.

She so fundamentally misunderstands the history that she is trying to reference to make her point and yet what do the peanut gallery focus on? Of course, how insulted Ms Palin should feel. Brilliant as usual.

For what it's worth... Sarah Palin had a reality show on TLC and it was a total guilty pleasure of mine. I actually found her and her family to be quite enjoyable people when it had nothing to do with politics. But I'll watch anything, so what do I know..
