Bashir is indeed a British journalist working in the US. What I can't in the least fathom is how his calling Palin a world class idiot; which quite frankly I don't completely disagree with, or at least if we have to be polite should perhaps read she ranks exceeding low in the annals of political thinkers. how does such name calling equate to evidence for the Democratic party having a war on women? One might as well argue that anyone calling Obama an idiot is proof that Republicans have a war on men. It's complete and utter nonsense.

Of course, that anyone could mistake this for sexism and a hatred of women per se is par for the course on VJ.

Actually he said that someone should "take a s**t in her mouth" It was not a mistake, it was not said in a fit of anger, it was written, sunmitted to MSNBC and he read his "speech" off a teleprompter. That you are uninformed does not make it OK. What makes it OK is...
