Hello,

A few months ago, I have submitted with my lawyer the following documents:

- My personal Statement (Sworn under oath)

- Joint-Tax 2011 (My ex-wife and me) ; Oh yes, she left me for someone else.

- Divorce Decree

- Pictures of our travelings in NYC, SF, Seattle ect...

- 24 fitness membership

- A website that she built with iWeb with her biography.

- A web Page with the IP address, and web hosting where I pay the bills, and other details, including her name and mine.

- 8 letters from my Landlord (We used to sub-rent together, I still do, but my ex does not anymore), letters from my family, my friends, and my landlords' family.

- Phone bills, same address but different bills.

- Gift Cards that I built for her, with a big White Teddy Bear.

- Bank Joint Account until she left me. I cut our bank account off since she left me.

Other small documents were submitted, however, I am so worried. I am afraid. I read terrible stories online. I am so afraid. One thing is sure, I won't talk to my ex again. I do not want to be near her.

Honestly, since she left me, my life has been better. I am not under too much stress anymore. Perhaps I wasn't a good husband, I will never know. We were very young when we married. I have good memories about her, and also terrible memories.
Here I am, going through a terrible process, where "love" is justified by documents, and those documents will determine the future of my life. Very Fair!!! She left me and I am the one paying the bill. Fantastic!! Imagine how happy I am.

Does anyone know how long it will take? And does when this nightmare will end?

And No NO, I have no additional documents to submit. IWe were students from France. Never had the mean to rent a apartment, nor get a credit card since we had no credit card history.

Any advices? Has anyone went through a terrible situation like this? Divorce? Threat from ex? When will I be able to enjoy my life?

Thanks for reading.

you have to enjoy your life know… everything suppose to calm down after you get green card… how long? who knows?? can be from 2 month to 2 years??? it really depends on your case.. try to submit as much document as you can because that is what determine how fast your green card will get approved…

do you have car?? did you go to church…get letter from pastor…. life ? medical ? insurance? we did you live whole time since coming in US ? letter from landlord .how about bank statements… debit cards…? you did have debit cards??/ did you have joint debit cards??/

because this one ,, what you provided ,, i don't think is going to be enough…

photos, gym membership, affidavits is just secondary evidence ...

Hi! Someone here went through ROC (and approved) with a divorce waiver. Unfortunately I am having trouble copying and pasting the link so you'll have to look up the thread. It's called "July filer with divorce waiver, approved with no interview but after RFE". Maybe that'll help you :)

Good luck!

ROC Journey:

4/24/13 - Submitted I-751 application

4/26/13 - I-751 officially filed

6/11/13 - Biometrics done

8/14/13 - Rec'd RFE

9/21/13 - Submitted RFE response

9/23/13 - RFE response rec'd at VSC

(about 2 months later)

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

Oh la la!!!

My apologizes for replying now! I was very busy the last few months. Thanks you for your responces.

To respond to your questions, we never went to the Church. Yes, we had a bank statement together ect... but never a health care and car assurance.

With my lawyer, I submited what I had. I have nothing else, I sent other documents, but I sent what I had. I am not going to create additional evidences.

Sincerely, thank you for your replies.
