Hello All,

I just got my NOA2 on mail yesterday and i am trying to prepare for next step. However i have some confusion about police clearance certificate requirement. Its very unclear to me what they mean by their table.

The problem is i have lived in Canada for the last 8 years and i have move 3-4 different places during that time. I have live more than 6 months in all these different places within Canada. Do i need police clearance certificate from all these local police authority or just one clearance certificate?

To me it looks like i just need one clearance certificate for my 8 years in Canada but the wording is confusing me. Appreciate your comments and knowledge.

You need one police certificate for Canada as it checks your name and date of birth for criminal convictions in the national repository for criminal records. I believe you can only obtain one at the local police station in the city you are currently living anyway.

Cheers and congrats on your NOA2. good.gif

Hello guys,

Do you have to obtain police certificates from each and every country you have lived since you were 16 years old? I ask because i have been living in Canada for the last 8 years and i have lived in my home country till i was about 22 years old. Just obtaining police certificate from Canada is enough?
