I got the date for my Biometrics appointment, and it says to be there at 1pm. I have to work that day, and I'd hate to miss most of the day on this.

Do you think I can show up early, at like 9am? Or will they turn me away? Has anyone on here shown up early for their bio appt?

It seems to depend a lot on the center that does the biometrics. Some have gone weeks early and been ok, some have tried that at different centers and been told they don't do walk-ins. I suppose all you can do is try.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Depends on the facility. Is it possible for you to call them? Maybe they can help you out. Anyways good luck and GOD Bless.

If it's not too much trouble or too great a distance, I would go early, as in weeks. Just don't go in less then 45 minutes to closing time and ask them really nicely that you'd appreciate if they can do the bio today. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Ok, I'm going to give it a try and see. Maybe I'll go on Thursday and see what happens. I guess the worst they can do is say no.

I tried to do the biometrics early here in Phoenix, AZ in October 2013. Security checks your letter as soon as you enter the building and they said a month before they were instructed not to accept any early attempts at walk-ins anymore for any reason.

I would still try the same day as it is worth the try. If they won't accept it then you can go online to rebook then.

So.... I showed up to the USCIS early yesterday to see if they'd let me do the BIO, and they turned me away... sigh. The lady said that they were busy and that her supervisor was there, and so she told me to come back on my scheduled date. Sucks. Now I have to take a day off work to do this.
