My fiance came here last 10/29 and since I got no cash for wedding ceremony and I want my marriage to be witness by GOD, my friend who is a licensed ordained minister signed our marriage license but my witnesses are my parents only. THere are no wedding pictures. THe real ceremony starts next year. I did this to meet the 90 day requirement.

Now, will this cause an issue for the interview? This is not fraud by the way. I love my wife and the real ceremony is next year. What documents do I need to prove it? Would this suffice:

a) Joint Bank Statements

b) Joint Credit and Debit cards

c) Her CA ID

d) Her SS# with the married last name

e) pictures of me and her together plus pictures with her family and my family

f) wedding rings

g) medical and dental insurance with us together

We also live in my parents house so I do not have her name on the utility bill. What is the best alternative? Please help me. I do not want them to think this is fraud.

My husband and got marry in a court near our home, on a wednesday morning with NO witnesses but the person who was performing the ceremony. We adjusted right away but we didnt send any kind of proof our marriage but the wedding certificate. I was approved WITHOUT interview and no issues at all

You guys can have a small ceremony, no problem. Plenty of couples do a small ceremony, and then have a larger ceremony later on. To adjust from K-1, all that matters is that the marriage is legal by US federal law.

The USCIS don't expect all couples to have a huge ceremony, and pictures are usually considered secondary evidence.

what are the primary evidence to convince our case is legit? Would this list be suffiicient for approval in the interview?

a) Joint Bank Statements

b) Joint Credit and Debit cards

c) Her CA ID

d) Her SS# with the married last name

e) pictures of me and her together plus pictures with her family and my family

f) wedding rings

g) medical and dental insurance with us together

If you have an interview and they ask for evidence, they will care most about co-mingling of finances and proof of co-habitation. What you have is pretty good. If you have a joint lease or mortgage, bring a copy of that too. The SS card with name change won't matter. Changing your name is not requirement. The wedding rings you are wearing will most likely not be asked about either.

Since we both live with our parents and the place is under their name, what's the next alternative to show we both live together?

Have your parents write a short affidavit saying you have been living with them all the time. That is what I would have done had I had an interview. There is a thread on VJ somewhere containing a link to a sample affidavit, but I cannot find it right now; maybe you will if you use the search option.
