CR-1 interview scheduled

I got my CR-1 interview in Montreal on the 5th of January.

So, like i was told during my K3 interview, the woman said to go back to Medisys (where i did my physical) and ask them to make me a copy of my results, so that I can bring them to the CR-1 interview, once its scheduled. I went straight to Medisys after that interview (october 25th) and they said that there is no problem making copies, I just needed the new Cr1 case number so that they can put it in with the results. Didnt have it at that point, but they said no problem. When I come back for the next interview, just stop by and they would make it on the spot.

I call them this week after getting the interview date, and they are not certain they can do that. They were going to check with their director and call me back... which they have not done yet.

Hopefuly they will not make me take another physical, or i will be screwed with time. I'm, flying back to canada for 4 days.

Has anyone else have problems getting copies? and for the Cr-1, has anyone had to get extra vaccinations? i got some for the K3. just wondering if they will have to give me more.

aaaaah. ok. I just spoke to Medisys and they said that there is no problem making a copy. it's 25$.

now they are going to call me back about the vacciantions because in the packet i received, it gives an updated list of vaccinations that are required for immigrant visas. So, no time to waste to get them if I need them because of the holidays and the interview is coming!! :hehe:

there is one more vacinne record that they need. it's called Pertussis

so are you going to ask your panel physician to include that record in your copy?

You probably got that shot as a child in Canada. I did! Just checked my records.

Feb. 15/ 07 --- GC approved

Nov. 17/09 -- I-751 sent (Day 1)

yeah. the nurse called me back afterwards.

I mentioned to her the letter that I received with the packet was entitled "Important notice to all visa applicants concerning vaccination requirements". She had not been informed about this letter.

I read it off to her and she said that, if i remember correctly, pertussis was another term for polio, which were shots that we had under 7 years old. then she mentioned that some of the other ones were for 50+ years old.

She basicaly said that the shots that are required, i got them when i went in for the K3 visa. but she requested I fax her the letter that i received with the list of vaccinations mentioned.

they were:

-mumps

-measles

-rubella

-polio

-tetanus and diptheria toxoids

-pertussis

-influenzae type b (Hib)

-hepatitis B

-varicella

-pneumococcal

-influenza

I'll let you guys know if I got any additional information.

i called the Dr. office today and told them i did the medical exam for K3 non-immigrant visa in September 06.

now i will have an CR-1 interview in Jan 07. And i got an updated list of vaccinations that are required for immigrant visas.

i told them, there is no Pertussis shown in my immunization record (even though is age not appropriate, they should check the box off). the secretary told me that "don't worry, you don't need that vaccine. Also, they didn't receive any updated list from the Consulate."

also the office told me that, there is no difference between K3 and CR1 medical exam

so i really don't know....
