Has anyone been successful in getting a Singapore Police back ground check? My Fiance' lived in Singapore for over two years. I hear the US Embassy in Manila will require one? When we went to the Singapore website given to us by the Singapore Embassy in Manila, the website says for Singaporians only? My Fiance is Filipino? We are on a roll and do not want to be slowed down...lol Thanks?

Yes you need it. You will have to wait until you have your MNL case number. Then you need to notify the embassy that you need a request letter for the COC from sg. Then you have to mail the request letter with fingerprints and such as stated on the sg police forces website from the philippines. Ours took about 2 weeks to get to process and get back.

If you go to regional forum, Asia : East and Pacific, you will find Singapore COC guide there. You will need to submit with an appeal letter
