Good stuff, thanks!

Just so you know, a few of the procedures regarding applying for and paying the visa fee have changed since I made that post. If I can help with anything just send me a PM. I know a few others that have gone thru the newer process since I did and maybe they can help too.

I just might, I'm still at the first few stages. I'm gathering some documents at the moment. My concern is she doesn't speak english that well and of course polish either. She did say Belarus is somewhat similar. So let's see.

Thanks again!

In Belarus, various agencies take all the available time slots at the Polish embassy and then sell them. Even if you go through an agency the wait was a month but if you have paid you fees to US Travel Docs and you have that receipt plus receipts for hotel, airfare, etc plus the I-134 you can just show up at the embassy without an appointment and wait in line -- it took my fiancé 2 days. The first day and a half someone waited in line for her and the second day she showed up to take their place. If you are not seen on one day before they close, you maintain your position the next day. Also I believe the required bank documents showing the Belarusian citizen had plenty of money to actually go Poland. I'll ask her how much they were looking for. Personally I thought all the requirements were crazy but it is what it is.
