Why it went to AP???

My fiancé had her interview last Nov 14 and she said the everything went well and at the end the consul said she was approved and at the last window she went they just asked her if she wants her passport/visa to be delivered or pick up from to go but besides all those that had happened and was hopeful that this week when we check our case status instead of issued its on administrative processing..we are both saddened by this because we never expected that it will go to AP

Any thoughts?

Nov 14-- interview

Nov 19-- AP

All go through AP, most are there for only a day, just be patient see what tomorrow brings. Most times it will go to issued shortly

i had my interview nov. 14th and im under AP too. Dont be sad or worried, its normal. just give it a few days. visas are usually issued within 1-2 weeks anyway. i totally understand how excited you are since i feel the same way, but im pretty sure we will be issued the visas soon. just a little more patience. we're almost at the finish line

Administrative processing is just that - they are processing your visa. Expact to have it next week at the latest.

Same here! just checked and mine is on ISSUED status too! woohoo!
